Mark Ronson Vs. AONology

Mark Ronson has been borrowing Dobbin Horsome’s ideas again:

TRACK: AONology (best bit at 1:24, btw)

TRACK: Bang Bang Bang

Go to the interactive app and select the relevant track, turn on the drums, press play, and see what you think about the alleged similarity.

Dobbin Horsome’s shuffle beat on AONology was an experiment from 2004, just after the Prodigy’s excellent Girls single was released.

Just 6 years later and the mysterious Mark Ronson has an intriguing riffola playing on an inverted perversion of the very same beat pattern methodology on the abovementioned track.

Shurely shome coinshidence?

Or does Mark Ronson have some explaining to do?
